At midnight ET in New York on July 1, Knicks team president Donnie Walsh and coach Mike D'Antoni will be in Los Angeles meeting with Joe Johnson, who will hold all of his meetings with clubs on the West Coast.

Walsh and D'Antoni also hope to meet with Amare Stoudemire while in Los Angeles.

Walsh and D'Antoni fly to northeast Ohio to woo James at 1 p.m. ET on Thursday.

^why not? i think he'd be an upgarde over lee... knicks would hit the jackpot if they signed Amare and an all star wing like LBJ/wade/JJ. I'd let go of lee if it meant surely acquiring amare from the suns.
