Man what a great way to end the season. Shape, I'll be moving out of Irvine next week to Chino Hills. Visit me!
I actually grew up in Chino Hills. I'm actually doing my cousin a favor by moving out there. He is moving down from VEgas for his senior year of high school so he can later attend a California college for cheaper. My grandparents still live in Chino Hills, so my uncle (his dad) wanted us to live near my grandparents and I'm basically chaperoning in Chino Hills for a year, then I'm coming back to Irvine.
We're fucked. The #1 rumor out there right now is... Wade, Bosh, and Bron in Miami. Jesus...fucking Christ that isn't even fair.
It isn't going to happen. I'll put it this way: http://www.blogabull.com Just a team meeting, like the ones with New jersey he has scheduled. To hear their pitch.
If the trio does happen, Wade ends up being the leader of that team IMO. He's got the closing abilities to lead the egos of Bosh, Bron, and himself in the end. Personally, I believe Bron will end up in Chicago. Will Bosh go with him? I dunno. I wonder how Rose will be able to handle this. Clearly he isn't LeBron, hopefully he doesn't think he is, either. I think Bosh and Wade end up in Miami, and I think this duo here has the ability to be be front runners for a title. Joe Johnson will be a Knick. Rumor is they're going to offer him a max contract. Maybe they can get Amar'e, too? I still think that a team with Joe Johnson and Amar'e will struggle to make the playoffs. Joe Johnson doesn't exactly strike me as a max-contract player. How do you think everything plays out, HK?
Depends on if the Bulls can dump Deng. Suddenly they open up a lot of options and some teams have a lot of cap space but not many interested agents. They could get desperate. I see no way LeBron goes to Miami, the battle over the ball would be historic there. I think he ends up back in Chicago or Cleveland, and they go make some more roster moves. Bosh is harder to predict he could want the most money available, not sure. It does seem like these guys might wait it out a little bit before deciding. Joe and Amare look like they're getting max contracts, there's just too many teams with cash right now and organizations have been waiting for this. I guess it is now or never, even if they overpay. Boozer could also get a decent deal. Joe is the worst out of this bunch, but it could give Chicago the shooter they need. Personally I hope Joe goes to Miami and messes around with that franchise, lol.
Joe Johnson might sneak his way onto Dallas, I've heard. Anyway, on ESPN, if you have an account, you can guess where each player is going, and if you are in the top 8 of the nation or something, you win a prize. But you gotta get LeBron, Chris Bosh, Dwayne Wade, Carlos Boozer, David Lee, Joe Johnson, Amare Stoudamire, and Dirk Nowitzki (I might be missing one person...).
Only some crazy sign and trade, lol. Guess it never hurts to talk about it. I heard Caron's contract is appealing for trading purposes.
Oh and Houston is using Scola (and truckloads of fans) to try to swing a sign and trade to Toronto for Chris Bosh. Small chance it happens, but IF it does that lineup IF healthy would be sick. Aaron Brooks Kevin Martin Trevor Ariza/Shane Battier Chris Bosh Yao Ming
That's a 4-7 seed in the West. Not scary at all. Ah, this is going to be an interesting off-season. I'm excited yet nervous. Next year is going to be incredibly difficult to 3-peat. I'm begging Karma to keep Bynum fully healthy, along with Kobe getting fully healthy and Gasol staying healthy.
Sidenote: I got my champions t-shirt and hat, but not the DVD and towel and champions jersey yet. WHY!!!
