The "Natural Born Killer" Carlos Condit has been preferred to Martin Kampmann as Dan Hardy's next opponent at UFC 120 in England. ESPN.co.uk initially broke the news 11 days ago that the UFC was locked in a fifty-fifty decision between Condit and Kampmann, both of whom are riding two-fight win streaks. Now the decision has been made to opt for Condit, as expected, offering the likelihood of a stand-up battle for British MMA fans on October 16. The bout has not been signed yet, but Hardy has confirmed he will return to Team Rough House in England for the start of August in order to begin his training camp. A deal will therefore be signed before "The Outlaw" leaves the US. http://www.espn.co.uk/espn/sport/story/31575.html?CMP=OTC-RSS
This is awesome news in my opinion. Hardy is always looking to throw leather in his fights, and Condit is a ninja that is never out of winning a fight. I think his fight goes a lot like previous wins with Hardy landing early shots that hurt, but Condit coming back to win the fight. If he ever fights a Daley/Alves, Condit could be in some trouble in the future.
