Now that Pritchard's gone does anyone honestly think there will be a "real" trade?

No, I didn't say that, but I was wrong about his contract status, and you were right.

Yes. While everyone else has rumors about free agency signings and trades, the Blazers only rumor is about Danny Ferry. How's that working for you, all of you kool-aid drinking Blazer fans?

This very fact is why it would have been far preferable to have fired KP months ago and gotten his replacement sometime in May.

I answered your question even though I am far from a kool-aid drinking fan.

In short, it doesn't work for me at all.

To be honest, I'm not sure any of this matters. Whether the GM this summer was KP, somebody else, or nobody at all, there wasn't much chance of the Blazers being involved in a blockbuster move. And by "blockbuster", I don't mean something like LMA for Amare - which involves big names but only marginal (if any) improvement.

Their best hope (IMHO), was always that the initial FA frenzy would leave other teams capped out, and that some good vet would fall through the cracks and be available for the MLE.
