Lamar Odom and Kobe Bryant have been compared to Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan. But do you think Lamar Odom can have a big enough impact on Kobe's game next season to be an all-star? I do not think so, he doesnt have nearly enough influence on kobe as Pippen had on MJ. I think he has to start creating his own identity, the entire team is dependant on kobe, it's time they can rely on someone else. Then he could be an all-star but there are alot of other players that would get there first imo.
No. I doubt it. He wont get the ball enough ins hooting situations for him to post all star ppg numbers. Thats what they usually look at too. It will be KG, TMac, Elton Brand, Dirk, Duncan. Lamar doesnt fit ion there.

You are just being ignorant if you have Lamar over Elton Brand or Pau Gasol.
Odom is a SF, he competes with Marion, KG sometimes, and people like that.. no way will he make it as a PF because that's not the kind of player he isAnyways, I think he does have a chance, he has the potential to put up great numbers, he leads the Lakers in rebounds, assists and 3 point fg%, and other things I dont remember. He just has to be more competitive or agressive as other people said.
They dont go by individual positions like Power Forwards and Small Forwards in the ASG. It is just Forwards, guards and centers. Thats why Lebron and Vince Carter started at the Forward spots in the East last year. It will be a huge battle for Lamar to even fit in with the West Forwards and I seriously doubt he will make it. Like I said, unless 2 or more people are injured.
