Suppose we get LeBron and Bosh. We still need to fill out the roster. I think a few guys might take the vet minimum to sign with the Bulls for a ring. The possibilities (that I like):

    Ray Allen
    Nate Robinson
    Brad Miller
    Ilgauskas
    Shaq
    Haywood
    Gooden
    Alston
    J. O'Neal
    QRich
    Haslem
    Arroyo
    Salmons
    Darko
    Duhon
    TMac
    Frye
    Bonner
    Mason
    Korver
    Mike Miller

Other guys who might sign with us if we can't land 2 MAX guys:
    Josh Howard
    Al Harrington
    David Lee
Ridnour (he's better than Kirk for a lot less, I bet)
    Gay
    Felton

Ray Allen is intriguing, because he'd start for us and have a chance at another ring. He's old, but who cares at vet minimum price?

TMac might be worth a flyer. If he's capable of giving us 15 minutes a night, or if he's even better than that, we score at a position we're weak at.

Miller, Korver, and Bonner can shoot the 3-ball, which we were pathetic at last season and don't even have Kirk for that kind of shooting.

I hope we can get some of them for the vet minimum.

I like Ridnour and Skip for backup PG

I like Mason, Korver and Mike Miller (who's a rebounding 2/3)

Gooden, Bonner, Haslem, O'Neal, Haywood (altho i hate him), and prolly Darko

Id stay away from Gay and Josh Howard

Harrington can play multiple positions (3/4 maybe 5 in a small lineup) but hes our modern Antoine Walker in that he jacks up 3s

If the BUlls sign LeBron and Bosh, who on the team is a 3pt threat?

'Bron. I still remember the threes he hit against us in the playoffs.

He isn't a ''threat", but can shoot it from there.

We would need some shooters no doubt. Even if we get JJ, we would still need another shooter.

Mason (which I assume is former Bull Roger), Bonner, Miller, Harrington, Korver, Frye, QRich are all 3pt threats. Hell we could even go after Reddick if the magic dont resign him.

Rose is going to be able to hit 3's, Bron can hit 3s, and Miller if he comes back can hit 3's. Deng's 3's improved last year too. I don't see 3pt shooting being a big problem, especially if they get Bosh and LBJ. With Bosh in the post, the bulls won't need to space the floor all the way to the 3pt line to get open shots.

The problem is a lot of these guys will get more than vet minimum

If we blow our wad on LeBosh and have nothing left then we may as well bring our 3rd stringers back that we can exceed the salary cap to resign

Brad Miller , Hakim Warrick , Joe Alexander , Flip Murray , Jannero Pargo and Acie Law

If we can swing Deng for wing shooting depth ( I would crack a chubby if we could really swap Deng for Pietrus and Gortat ) then I would be fine bringing back the 6 guys named above on the assumption that better quality won't be available for the minimum

LeBron is a career .329 3pt shooter, he shot .333 last season.
    Rose shot .267 last season.
Deng is a career .309 shooter

I think opponents would love to see them shooting 3's all day.

I think Jermaine O'Neal, Ray Allen, and TMac might all sign for the vet minimum with the right team.
