    Exactly. This was to get a new deal before the lockout and the assumed downward adjustment of NBA salaries.

    I never said that, and believe that Allen will sign elsewhere with the Celtics pursuing a cheaper option (JJ Redick).

    i think this COULD happen. Basketball is a business, and whatever he said about LA will surely be forgotten if he plays well for them (e.g. kobe and wanting to be traded).

    plus, pierce is from LA right and the clips have ample space plus a good core/team that needs a legit star (Baron - SG/SF - Pierce - Blake - Kaman)
