Great pics. Thanks! That's a good-looking bunch of rooks. How tall is Babbitt? I've seen him listed anywhere from 6'7 to 6'10.
Nice stuff. It sort of makes me wonder about this question I've had rattling around in my head for the past couple of days: Which of the three A) stays a Blazer the longest or B) has the best NBA career? I can't make up my mind.
Holy crap guys, look at that! They retire just about everyone's number here. With that kind of standard, someday the three of us will likely be up there too! barfo
I like Elliot Williams a lot. He's a steal that's going to surprise a lot of people, so I see him and Babbit being around for a while. Not so sure about Johnson, more of a wait and see.
I like the fact that he plays solid D and can shoot it a little bit ... but frankly I don't think any of them will really stick (maybe Babbitt because he can shoot with NBA range).
So, this is what the big city looks like, guys. Soak it all in...but be careful. I hear these places can eat you up alive. Woo, yeah. Look, a fully automated vending machine. BIG TIME.
"on the bright side, this will be the worst they can do to us for promos..its all up hill from here guys!" \
Damn Babbitt is pale. I hope he pans out. White american perimeter/wing players are pretty rare these days.
Based on what I've seen of them, I agree that none of them stick. However, it would be nice to be surprised.
If we actually ever do see all 3 of them on the floor at the same time it means 1 of 2 things 1. We are playing whichever team has huge cap space that doesn't get any of the good FA's (New Jersey) 2. It is the fist game of the playoffs and we are getting our asses handed to us.
or 3. We strike out in free agency and can't pick up any perimeter players that are worth a damn, and an injury to Roy or Bayless makes each one the primary positional backup.
"I mean, I thought Greg Oden's penis would be this big... "...but just look at it! (And when did they realize it would be a better draw at the Rose Garden than the team?)"
