Anything is possible. It's possible that Ferry was snorting lines of coke off of Dan Gilbert's wife's stomach, and thus he was forced to resign. Not probable or even likely, but possible. More probable? That Ferry fired his GM because he was tipped that Paul Allen won't hire him if LaGarie was his agent. Otherwise, I imagine Ferry would have fired LaGarie years ago.
You said KP's agent was "found out" to be leaking things to the media. He wasn't leaking anything. He was coming right out and saying it and putting his name to it. UNLIKE the Blazers front office who are letting Patterson and unemployed podcasters do their dirty work. How many lifeboats do you think we'll need for 20,630 people? Like 10?
Are you being serious? The truth can always be questioned. They HATE being questioned. Sorry, I'm not someone who thinks Paul Allen is the "Best NBA owner in the whole wide world" because he shovels money into a Portland incinerator. There are certain teams who have nothing to hide and others that do everything they can to not let anyone in. We are dealing with the latter. Probably for good reason. Nope - I don't even live in the Northwest. My only involvement with the Blazers is I'm a HUGE fan amongst Laker, Jazz and Kings fans. My red, white and black sticks out next to all the purple I see.
If that's the case, how have you missed the fact that this franchise has been a laughing stock for most of Paul Allen's reign? And that's just the basketball. Let's not forget what he did with the Arena. And threatened to move the team and signed the comcast deal, both ends of the Darius Miles deal. etc etc etc. Absolute jokers. At least Danny Ferry is here to save us from that tyrant Kevin Pritchard.
