Link The cops-abusing-their-tasers story to top them all? Maybe not — I am still expecting a “baby-tazing” incident shortly.
Let's not leave out all the details: Still more than a little excessive that they tazed her, but it's not like she was just lying there doing nothing.
Here's a copy of the police report, if you care to read it. Obviously it only has the officer's side of the story and makes the granny out to look like a nutjob.
Yes, because I wanted to give the impression that cops would taze on old lady for no reason. Here is a link to her lawsuit. Obviously her side of the story and makes the cops out to look like a nutjobs.
Considering it's highly unlikely that she actually fought in WW2, I would say that she just admitted to murdering four Japanese people in cold blood.
She is going to snuff those 10 police officers one by one, just like she said she would in the police report. 86-year-old disabled ladies know that revenge is dish best served cold... with a knife!
My wife has to deal with people like that routinely at work... and it is sad. You can be as crazy as you want but when you cross the line of trying to harm yourself or others you will get detained. Stepped on oxygen hose so she couldn't breath? Are you kidding me? I am sure she would survive a few minutes breathing the oxygen in normal air... just taking the hose off her nose would have been a lot easier than the pills.
I am going to have nightmares of a granny in with a walker trying to creep up on me now. Everytime I look she will stop and look away innocently... but when I look somewhere else I here the clink of her walker... closer... closer... =)
That Grandma is one hard ass. Tasering wasn't enough. I think Lethal force was well justified. SIEG HEIL! YAY FOR POLICE STATES WOOHOOO!!! Fuck freedom and stuff!!! *adjusts brown shirt*
Yes what about their RAZOR SHARP GUMS! Also a cop could slip in a drool puddle and barely twist their ankle. I think we need a SWAT team up in this bitch! Oh and fuck the 5th amendment just kick down the god damn door and start shooting. There could be a granny or baby in any given household time for door to door searches.
Well, at least old people move slower and make better target practice for these jump starts. Go granny, go granny, go granny GO.
One of my good friends is an ER nurse, and she's been pretty well beaten down by "decrepit old people" as she's tried to take blood pressures, adjusted breathing tubes, etc. They can be sneakily strong and feisty. Once again...someone pulls a knife, they get tasered. Technically, they could have used deadly force. Someone armed with a knife within 20 feet of you justifies it. And if it's your life on the line, you don't take chances with crazy old ladies holding weapons
How about trying to be diplomatic. Talking to her or getting her grandson to calm her down and get the knife away from her. Or how about wait until she passes out from the drugs and let the paramedics take her away. And technically they could have punched her in the face and beat her into submission with their night sticks. Are you serious? We didn't have this problem 20 years ago. This is just stupid lazy police work.
Three clear references in the police report to their attempts at being diplomatic, trying to calm the situation by talking to her. I stand by my previous statement.
Those are the rules. No need for a conscience. Just the facts, ma'am. And if it's someone else's life on the line, you have permission to just snuff it out to protect yourself from any worries. How did police survive before the advent of tasers?
The police were invading her home for no good purpose and she supposedly brandished a knife, from her bed, in self-defense. In her position I would have shot them, and in fact the police are the most compelling reason to support the 2nd Amendment.
