who do you think the five best NBA players ever are. Here's how i think it goes down5. Wilt Chamberlin - Dominated the game with his height and power when he was in the league.4. Jerry West - Clutch like no other3. Larry Bird - one of the main attributes a player needs to make his team work is confidence, and Larry Bird was # 1 when it came to confidence in himself and in his team on the court.2. Magic Johnson - The born leader, not a born leader but the born leader.1. Micheal Jordan - Honestly what do i need to say about him.

Just look at Reggie Miller. Probably one of the top five clutch. He was noonwhere near being the best.
When jerry west dealt with the pressure his entire team followed. He was not only clutch himself he would lead the rest of his team to that power. He could always be relied on.

1. Michael Jordan - Won 6 MVPs, 6 Championships, 6 Finals MVPs, One DPY award. He was a top 5 perimiter defender ever, top 5 scorer ever, top 5 clutch player ever, late in his career he was a top 10 leader ever. There's nothing he couldn't do, and there's nothing he didn't do. No one in NBA History has been as good a scorer and defender. No player in NBA history has both won, and accomplished what he has individually. If you think anyone is close to him, you need to go and watch this guy play2. Shaquille O' Neal - When I watch this guy play, I see that not even Michael Jordan affected the game like him. THis is a guy who wherever he has went, has turned mediocre/decent teams to a contender. This is a guy who makes 7'0 Centers look like boy scouts. This is a guy who has led his team to 3 championships, 3 Finals MVPs, 1 MVP. Most dominant player ever.3. Magic Johnson4. Larry Bird5. Hakeem

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks he was the 2nd best player of all time.1. MJ2. Shaq3. Magic Johnson4. Larry Bird5. Wilt ChamberlainShaq has averaged 20 PPG for more consecutive seasons than anyone else in the NBA History. He also has averaged 20 and 10 for longer than anyone in NBA History. Those include Wilt who could just camp in the lane all day long. If Shaq played without the 3 Second Rule he would've definetly gotten over 100 multiple times.

Personally, I think Shaq is the best player all time. After reading a book about Who's Best, Who's Better in basketball, Elliot Kalb really got me thinking Shaq is better. I just put Shaq on as number 2 because I didnt want to bother explaining to everyone why I think he's number 1.
