I'd go to the Knicks. Global stage amplified better than any other team. D'Antoni would be a good coach for teh lebronze.

Big time venue. Madison Square Garden. Live in Manhattan. The World Is Mine.

He'd make double the endorsements and would be an icon.

Clippers, if they promised to move back to San Diego. I really like San Diego.

I would go to Miami if I could get Wade and Bosh there with me.

If that doesn't work, I'd go to Chicago.

Nets. James could go there and bring another talented free agent. Harris and Lopez there already, Russian billions, the Nets would rape the Knicks' market.

    My Rankings:
    1. Nets
    2. Bulls
    3. Heat
    4. Cavs
    5. Knicks
    6. Clippers

    Heat.

Wade/LBJ/Bosh or Stoudemire ... that's a really good team that probably is a favorite for the title.

Plus, no state income tax, which adds almost $10 million that isn't taxed over the contract over New York and New Jersey.

That was a 12-win team with Harris and Lopez. LBJ and Bosh don't make them a title contender, do they? They'll be capped out for years.

To people who say the Heat cause they could have James, Wade, and Bosh... it's not happening. The only way it could is if one of them decided to take less than the maximum salary, and even if they did sign all three to max contracts, that leave 12k for the rest of their roster.

LeBron James should sign with the New York Knicks.

    Why?

Bulls? People say the favorites are the Bulls, since they will have an awesome team and would be instant title contenders and a possible dynasty. Yeah, he’ll ALWAYS be in Jordan’s shadow though. And this is the EASY choice.

Heat? Some say the HEAT because he can play with Wade and Bosh with Coach Riley. Its Wade’s team. Plus they’ll have 4 players on contract with 9 minimum wage scrubs. Not a story for success.

Cavs? Not a bad option…a distant second to the Knicks. He still keeps his brand strong and represents his hometown, which is always a good story.

Nets? You have Jay-Z and a Russian Billionaire hold a steaming bag of shit and its still a steaming bag of shit.

Knicks? I think that for LeBron: THE BRAND, the Knicks are the clear front runners. Forbes Magazine reported the Knicks hired a private firm to calculate career earnings for LeBron in different scenarios. The key finding was that he would make the most money with the Knicks. A Knicks championship would be more valuable than any of the other suitors for the King.

I think the key for New York is the lifestyle. A global icon like LeBron would love the Big Apple.

Imagine game day for LeBron….he goes out to a paparazzi swarmed lunch at Nello, followed by a few hours of hanging out at his Park Avenue Penthouse. He then takes a private car transport to Madison Square Garden to an absolutely raucous crowd. Self-aggrandizing New Yawkahs WILL be loud and have waited DECADES for a team to cheer for.

Remember the Larry Johnson playoff run a few years back? That was one of the wildest crowds ever. That is NOTHING compared to any day LeBron as a New York Knick would be. LeBron would almost be Jordan-esque in that people in other cities would want to go to the game to see King James in a Knicks uniform.

It would just be good for the NBA.
