Are doing with their coverage of lebron is an actualy negative impact on his career. There overhyping lebron to the point where people are starting to dislike him. I personally like lebron but my opinions on him are changing simply because of espn [and other media outlets].Does anyone feel the same way?
Yes and all this hype and media on his dick is leading to him getting extra calls. Most of the great players get them but LeBron has been getting them to much. The media has become worst know because of new ways to get the word around like blogging. If he manages to win game 7 I can't imagine how bad it will get.

The media over coverages a lot of things though: NFL Draft, regular season baseball, etc.
yea i agree with your points guys. i used to like him but kno i dont. and kno i know why. but its too late for me.
I don't pay attention to the media as much as the average NBA fan. When they were saying he was the worst clutch player ever, I joked with it, laughed with it, but didn't think it was justified. Now that they are saying he is one of the best players ever, I'm laughing with it, hoping for it, but not believing it just yet
No. I dont care about all that media sh*t. They could say he was the worst player ever and I wouldnt care. When I watch him play, I know he will be the player of the next 2 decades. I dont care what the media are saying about him. I have my own opionions, I judge players by how they play in games. I think it is also ludicrous for someone to dislike a player because they media over-hypes him. You should have reason for disliking someone.

The media hype is getting overboard... the kid is only 21, and he has only been in the league for three years, and most of the media is already on his **** ... it is at the point where people are getting sick of it, and unfortunately for LeBron his popularity is taking a minor hit because of it. If the media continues to force-feed LeBron to us 24/7... the number of haters is only going to grow bigger and bigger...
I dont like the media but I do like LeBron, the hype they put on him is annoying though, and I can see how if positively or negatively effects people. A day doesnt pass by where I dont see a LBJ jersey on.He is one of the top in the league. He's young. He has a blinding bright future. But how many times do we have to hear it on TV?You make one mistake, you suck. You play decent, they expect you to be the next MJ. I just don't like it. Not a'tall.
Its not even that... I'm just tired of the media hyping him up so much. Alright, we all know he's great, but please, stop with the Jordan comparisons, stop with the Magic comparisons, etc., and just let him go out there and play basketball. When he makes a great play, we don't need to disect it 100 times to show how great it was... when he does a normal dunk, it doesn't need to be in the SportsCenter top 10 every single night (especially when it is the same damn dunk every time). When he has a great game, we don't need to spend 15 minutes on SC and/or NBA Shootaround comparing him to MJ every night. What's next? BREAKING NEWS: LeBron James just tied his shoes the same way MJ did!!! We'll keep you updated!
All the media is saying is that he's an MVP type and is going to be one of the best ever, basicly what most fans have been saying for a couple years now. I don't see the issue here.
Its a very big issue. Now all of the other superstars are not noteworthy because of the media hype on to Lebron. Arenas, Wade, T-Mac, Jason Kidd, and others are all had monster years (T-Mac was hurt) yet they become unnoticed because they dont have a tatoo of 'Chosen One' on their back.I thought David Sterns master plan was to have diversity. You dont get that with Lebron on the front page every day.
No the media is making a big deal out of it.There praising him so much it's just become anoying,I don't think anyone here dislikes him as a player but people like Scottie Pippen are saying things like he will be the next Jordan and what not.Yes hes young, yes he good we know all those things but don't make it sound like the entire world revovles around LeBron.
It's a big deal. You turn on espn [even down here] and there talking about lebron. Lebron this, lebron that, lebron is the king. It's rubbing people the wrong way and the amount of haters are rising.Just wait, in two seasons you will see people booing lebron.

Ill be honest and tell you that I totally forgot that both the Clippers and Suns were still in the playoffs, because its the Lebron vs. the Pistons is all I hear now.
Actually yesterday was the first time I've seen alot of haters for LeBron. Besides that, I think that LeBron is becoming more popular. I don't think people will boo LeBron as long as he continues to lead his team to respectability, because of his persona. He is a funny guy, friendly with the media, and isn't an off-court issue. I don't think LeBron will ever be booed as long as he continues to lead Cleveland deep in the Eastern Playoffs. If he can get Cleveland to this point witht he talent they have, imagine what he could do with a few more players.
