Boston Celtics guard Tony Allen(notes) received at least four calls yesterday from teams interested in possibly signing him, according to HoopsWorld.

The site reports that the 28-year-old got a call from the team he went up against in the NBA Finals, the Los Angeles Lakers, as well as the New Jersey Nets, Miami Heat, and Chicago Bulls.

Boston selected the Chicago native with the 25th pick of the 2004's first round. He averaged 2.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 6.1 points in 16.1 minutes per game this past season.

admit it, he defended kobe pretty good.

even though he has an ugly shot, imagine putting him in at same time with artest, lock down defense haha.

Oh shit, I thought it was Ray Allen, not Tony. lol I didn't read the post just the title.

Well in this case, I wouldn't mind if he came. He defended Kobe better than anyone in the Playoffs, CK.

Yes Tony Allen did defend Kobe pretty well but we don't need another guy who can't soace the floor. Our spacing was downright awful at times this past season.
