    There are lots of teams with cap space to burn, but not enough players to go around.

    When all the FAs are signed, Deng could well be an attractive player to one of those teams who gets shut out. Like we could give away his contract and take nothing back but draft picks....

    But hopefully we'd have one of our FA targets on board before we do, cuz if we dont we'll still need Deng cuz he can still play even if he disappears at end of games and gets injured frequently

    We can yes, but will a FA wait it out? Will he commit and wait for us to move Luol? That is a big risk for a FA to take.
