these two guys are almost equal in comparison, so who do you take?I'm taking Rip Hamilton. I'm sure you all guessed that one. Rip just has the better midrange game. That's why I take him, plus he can win in the playoffs..
Rip. He brings energy to the table, he is great at hustling on offense and getting some garbage points as well as scoring a ton off of his slick jumper he has. He probably has the best jumper in the game right now. He is the better defender, and if he didnt play with the Pistons he'd be scoring as much or more as Redd.
Rip. He is the best off the ball. He runs everywhere just to get open. He's the best conditioned athlete in the league. His mid-range jumper is crispy. Not as good of a perimeter player as Micheal Redd but that doesn't mean he can't shoot the three. He's a key piece to the puzzle in Detroit, we've won with what we got. What has Milwaukee done?
I'll go with Rip because he doesn't need the ball as much as Redd to be effective and he's the better defender. Redd's better in the shooting catergory, but I feel Rip's defensive skills and hustle plays out weigh it. Hamilton's also quicker and has more stamina, not to mention he's proven more in the playoffs than Michael
Rip takes this one to the bank, he has the best midrange jumper in game, hes the best moving without the ball hes also on a championship team.Hes better then redd by a mile plain and simple.
He's not better by a mile!Look at the rest of both teams startersetroit hasChauncey BillupsTayshaun PrinceRasheed WallaceBen WallaceMilwaukee hasTJ FordBobby SimmonsAndrew BogutJamaal MagloireDetroit definatly has a better starting lineup, and that's been the key to their success.Give me Rip though, for the hustling, defensive ability, and ability without the ball. Both have a really nice stroke, Micheal's is a little bit better though.
I would go with MRedd because he can attempt a crazy shot from almost anywhere on the court and it has a very high chance of going in, whereas Hamilton takes ordinary shots that go in. Also Redd is a 3 machine.
Although it's hard to ever vote against Rip and his Pistons. Michael Redd is a better shooter imo. Rip is limited around the 3 point line. If he's wide open he'll hit the wide open 3. That happens maybe once a game? Most NBA players should be able to hit an open shot. Redd is a scorer, he's a pure shooter, and he can create for himself pretty well..
