As of the moment, all signs point to this scenario: LBJ (Cle), Wade + Bosh(Mia), Boozer(Chi), Amare(NY). Not that that's startling news.

bucher has been saying this since Sunday. He is convinced the Bulls will either strike out or just get Boozer.

It certainly is the most likely scenario isn't it? I can't imagine that Lebron signs with the Bulls. Wade can make more from the Heat than any other place, and Toronto is asking a lot for Bosh. I just hope we're still able to sign Boozer.

If we didn't get Wade, who are the FA SGs we'd be looking at? That goes for getting Bosh, Lebron, Boozer or anyone but Wade at this point.

    Still available:
    * Ronnie Brewer (Good defender, not a great scorer)
    * Mike Miller (Good shooter, not a great defender, aging)
    * JJ Reddick (see Mike Miller, younger and unproven)
    * Anthony Morrow (maybe good at everything, maybe a flash in the pan?)
    * Roger Mason, JR (looks good playing next to Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu. Well, better than Keith Bogans does)

We haven't talked anything about this, but it'll be interesting to see how it shakes out. I think the "plan" if the Bulls had one might also be to trade Deng if we get Lebron, but suppose we just end up with Bosh or Boozer? Then we can't trade Deng and we need to fill in here.

I'm also a big fan of Josh Childress, but I dunno that he's really a guy I'd want playing between Deng and Rose.

I would be all over Reddick or Morrow. Especially if we get someone like Boozer.

Both are deadly 3pt shooters, and we really need someone to spread the floor. I could even see overpaying both with our leftover cap.

Its funny that a lot of people (some of my friends) hate JJ. I tell them that hes a 3pt threat and hes a under rated passer. They still say he stinks lol

bucher doesnt know what he is saying.

He is on twitter now saying Wade and Bosh to bulls will not happen because:

huh? No just one S & T! I told him that. And...we dont have to trade Deng in a S & T! Johnson and Taj plus picks gets us enough to sign bosh as well!!

Bucher answered, neither of them will give up the 6th year. So both would require a S & T.

Johnson and Taj doesn't get it done.

$2.7M or so in contracts minus about $1M for cap holds. And I think we're at least $2.8M shy of being able to sign two MAX FAs as it stands now.

I think Wade may be asking Miami for a S&T. That certainly would explain the delay, wouldn't it? It would also be the logical move if he decides to leave Miami. Bucher may be in the loop, although I think one of the teams (or the Nets, Minnesota, NY, Clips) would take Deng's contract for a trade exemption.

I would think so too. Actually if I were Miami, I'd probably take Deng back if confronted with the certainty of Wade's departure. They'd still be far under the cap with him, and they'll need at least something solid to work with. He actually makes more sense going there than to the Raps, where they've got an obvious SF (Hedo) already.

If Wade and Bosh want to come to Chicago, it will get worked out. There are a bunch of ways to do it. Deng could just be given to a team like the Clippers. Or Bosh and and Wade could take the million dollar hit on the first five years for the payoff of $25 million guaranteed in the 6th. If it's about winning championships, it will get done.

Wade's going to be 33 going on 34 when his contract runs out. That's a year older than Billups is right now. It's also about Ray Allen's age. Good idea to tie a guy like those up for MAX dollars at that age, you think?
