Durant is in Orlando watching all OKC's Summer League games. Jesus, can't this guy act a little bit less classy? Can't we get a DUI or something? Painful.

Durant was also hanging out at the draft this year to welcome his new teammates to OKC. He's the anti-Oden in terms of being a teammate.

I'm glad these teams spend so much money on personality evaluations, and then completely ignore them.

or maybe Oden was so used to any players the Blazers picked, not actually playing there, so he didnt waste his time ;)

You ever think maybe Odens experience with the media sharks might color his behavior? If interviewed Durant will be asked about his exploits. If oden is interviewed "how are you dealing with being such a disappointment? How is your knee? Are you depressed now?" etc. Etc.

Oden fit the culture much better than Durant did.

Apparently our culture is taking photos of our giant units, while theirs is having their young superstars go to summer league games to help the team

I'm sorry, but answering tough questions is part of the job when you come into the NBA.

We should probably be crucifying LaMarcus and Brandon right now.

Let me just add that I have always maintained (and still do) that Oden was the right pick. But it's hard to hate Durant. And whatever pain we feel is greatly exceeded by that felt by any Sonics fan.

On a vaguely related note, I noticed that besides Jeff Bowers and Joe Dumars, the Nets have targeted Presti for their GM position. Must be nice to be recruited by at least one mega-rich owner.

I've never hated Durant, nor thought he wasn't a great talent. At the time of the draft, I thought he was an amazing talent and expected him to be a top wing in the league. I just thought, and still think, that Oden is the greater talent. Unless it turns out that durability is a skill he doesn't have. I'm not ready to decide that two (or three if you want to look at it that way) seasons in, but it's certainly a possibility. If Oden is simply injury-prone, then that is a knock against his talent.

I like Durant, just as I like(d) Kobe, McGrady, Pippen, etc. I love exciting, athletic wings.

Sure, but being at summer league to take extracurricular questions about your knee isn't. Maybe he's working on his game? If he were there we would probably hear a chorus about how he needs to be working on his game.

Oh my God. The stupidity in this forum knows no bounds.

Yes, fuck Greg Oden for rehabbing instead of hanging out at summer league.

Pretty fucking much. Repped for sanity. If he was there people would talk about his possible gambling/prostitution addiction.

And for future reference the reason he was at the draft was to do media for ESPN and NBA TV. He commented about it on his twitter.

The silliness people will engage in to try and attack the objects of their frustration. ;) Yes, Durant's presence at summer league is making a big difference to improving their team.

There are rational ways to criticize Oden and praise Durant. You managed to not find any of them.

If he's got time to party in Vegas, he can certainly plan a trip down there to support the team in Summer League and hit his usual spots. He was there just last month "rehabbing":
