Reports are that if Bosh gives the OK, he'll be sent to CLE for Varejao and/or Hickson, Delonte West, Anthony Parker, and possibly a pick. If so, I'd imagine their starting 5 to look like this: C Chris Bosh PF Antawn Jamison SF LeBron James SG Jamario Moon (?) PG Mo Williams Problem with this is that Bosh would be playing center when he's a natural PF. The Cavs can make like the Lakers and go with this: C Anderson Varejao (assuming that TOR wants the younger Hickson) PF Chris Bosh SF LeBron James SG Jamario Moon PG Mo Williams 6th Man Antawn Jamison A solid team, but overall, I still think we beat them in a best of 7 series. Pau Gasol should have his way with Bosh, Bynum with Varejao, and Kobe with Moon. Artest would make life a living hell for LeBitch, and the much quicker Steve Blake would be covering Mo. Also, I STILL think (believe it or not) that LO is a better player than Jamison, ALTHOUGH I would welcome an LO for Mike Miller trade In other words, I WANT to see this trade go down.
The Cavs won't even make it out of the East with this lineup. No depth and no size up front. They would still struggle against Boston & Orlando.
I am happy we are in the west. Lebron/Wade/Bosh/Amare all want to go east. We'll let them battle it out and go from there.
Bosh has said he doesn't want to play center anymore. Any scenario where he'd have to play full time center I don't think would work in that case. He also doesn't want to go to Cleveland apparently, which is understandable. They won't have much left after trading away all their role players just to get him.
Bosh and Wade have been buddy-buddy throughout this whole process, if they don't end up because Bosh goes somewhere else or something like that, it'll ruin their friendship--especially if Bosh agrees to go to Cleveland with 'Bron. Wade and Bosh is a safe bet. Bron is a wild card. Does he give Cleveland another chance and sign a 2 or 3 year deal with them? Does he trust them and sign a max deal with them? Does he say fuck em and leave? There is no way Cleveland goes after Boozer, not after what he did to that franchise. Their safest bet to keep Bron is to get Bosh, and that is not going to happen unless Bosh has a change of heart. I wish Thursday was here already so this shit would be over.
