With Wade/Bosh going to Miami, and LeBron letting us know about his fate tomorrow evening, it's time to start discussing the very real possibility of needing a plan B.

So far, it appears that no superteam is going to form out of free agency. It's possible that LeBron joins Bosh/Wade, but barring that, the East appears to be wide open in the near future, and if the Bulls can add a couple solid pieces, then they have a chance. So with that said I produce ....

    Go for it now:
1: Sign Carlos Boozer / David Lee
    2: Sign Josh Childress
    3: Sign Anthony Morrow/JJ Reddick

I go back and forth on whether I want Boozer or Lee. I think both will be fantastically overpaid, and I'm scared of either. If you choose the go for it now plan, you need a commitment from ownership that they'll continue to go for it and pay luxury tax and things like that.

That makes me think. You think JR pays the luxury tax if he doesnt get lebron? We know he has to extend Rose and Noah but do you think he dictates to GarPax who they sign?

No, not this year. If we go far in the playoffs, lets say conference finals, he may pay it next year

I doub't it. Nothing we have seen from him seems to lean towards paying the luxury tax if he doesn't have a team that is absolutely set up for a string of championships.
