Did they mention if its sign and trade or just a straight up contract?

I guess this was Plan B?

Tweets K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune: "Bulls will turn attention to Carlos Boozer and David Lee, with whom they've already met, shooters and the trade market."

Lee has spoken to a few teams, and has been bandied about in sign-and-trade deals with the Suns and Warriors -- so the Bulls will have competition for his services.

The Bulls could potentially target J.J. Redick or Ray Allen in free agency to take over at shooting guard.

A team of Joakim Noah, Lee/Boozer, Redick, Derrick Rose and Luol Deng would be a good starting five.

Perhaps not championship caliber, but they'll certainly contend in the East if the Bulls are able to acquire such a roster this offseason.

I dont think it will happen, but Boozer deal is not the max, we have enough to entice LeBron

Bulls agree to 5 yr, $80 mil deal with Carlos Boozer. Bulls still have enough cap space to sign a max player. via Chad Ford

So we are still in the discussion for LeBron. We may not get him, but damn, this team is good without him, with him, we are contenders for it all

I think this could go a long way in securing LeBron. Reports were Cleveland was going to turn to Utah and work a S&T deal. Interesting!

Okay I'm feeling better about plan B. Boozer may very well have been better for our franchise than Bosh. What are our options for a shooting guard? We have money to spend -- if we get that position looked down with a Joe Johnson type (obviously not Joe himself) than we have a team that could very well beat the Heat and Cavs.

    Hollinger:

$80 mil deal has cap figure of $13.8M, which should leave juuuuust enough for LBJ if no cap surprise tonite. S&T drops 1st year to $13.2M.

Trueblue: I admire your optimism. But Lebron would has decided already, he's working out with Cavs players, and ready to go on national TV. Lebron is out of the question.

I cant believe Bosh!! Right after Boozer was announced going to the Bulls he tweeted everyone, just to remind him he is/was in the news!

He didnt say that, but his timing, to tweet is despicable!
