Now that we've lost Martell, why not take a run at Kyle Korver as back-up SF? Do we all really think Babbit will be ready as a primary back-up for Batum? I hate Nate's offensive plan, but Korver seems to fit well in it.
I wouldnt pay Korver more than 4 mil which was Outlaw/Webs money and prob not even that he aint that good
"We All" rarely agree on anything, but I think Babbitt will be better than Korver, and I would rather the Blazers not do anything this summer then spend money to sign another Korver.
Nate would want Korver to play D and that won't happen. Exactly why OUR new little cracker won't get any run!
As a reserve and specialist off the bench, Korver is pretty good at what he does -- and that's shoot. And any way to stick it to Utah again, I'm all for it.
If Rudy stays, Roy will be at SF when Batum is out. Or even if we play Bayless (or even Williams) at the 2. Babbitt doesn't even need to play if he's not good enough. And there is still the possibility of Cunningham playing there some. We know Nate trusts him and Nate refers to him as a SF even though he's never played him there.
