Excellent point and one that seems to be overlooked imo. I love having a team of hard workers. They are more likely to maximize their potential and I think they create a culture that infects other players that join the team. I just hope we don't lose this culture since KP is gone now.

This kicks ass. I'm psyched. Especially with the idea that he might be able to handle the rock. The NBA has entered an era in which barely anybody passes the ball anywhere near the painted area. Even scoring big men like Zach Randolph and Chris Bosh get their entry passes a ways out and have to drive their way into the post. If you're a big man you've gotta be able to catch the ball in the elbow or further out and do something you've got very little chance of getting involved in the offense.

Ed what you are describing is a typical spoiled cocky young athelete. What you are not describing is Jeff Pendergraf. He may be smirking in the photo, but the kid is extremely hard working, appreciative, and humble. I am not saying he will ever be a starter (Except due to injuries) but you will end up liking his attitude towards the game.
