-Randy Pfund is in town right now and will interview for the job tomorrow. -Minnesota asked Rudy's agent if he'd play for them and said he said no, they don't meet Rudy's criteria, apparently.
It would be interesting, except, we seem to always be in trade talks only for nothing to come true (and I am talking about semi-major not minor junk trades). Obviously, things fall through or just don't work, but trade rumors and Blazers done seem to be exciting to me much anymore.
If I were Rudy I'd say the same thing. I wouldn't want to go to Minnesota so I'd say I wouldn't play for them. The problem is the system. The problem is Minnesota even feeling the need to ask. What happened to the days when players just played for whoever is paying their contracts, they shouldn't have this kind of veto power. Don't hate the playa, hate the game.
You suck at my part I could easily say Larry Miller is leaking false information to appease fans Or that Kahn calling and trying to rip the Blazers off doesn't mean the Blazers are active in trade talks And lastly, I could say it just says they're listening which again means that Blazers aren't trying to be active So yeah
Well that, and many of them would be lateral moves at best, or moves that fuck the team up. It's not like it matters. I am pretty sure the NBA is trying to fix up an LA/Miami finals for next year as we speak.
If Rudy turned down the chance to play in Minnesota there is no way he'd play in Cleveland. Right now the Wolves have a much better roster than Cleveland.
