SO I read this by Bill Simmons, and usually his stuff is really biased, but always entertaining to read. So I thought I put this snippet here: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmons/100708
The Olympics is kind of different though. I remember how dominant Barkley was on that team, but it isn't exactly the same game.
Oh I know, I just read it and remembered that Olympic game and Kobe's scoring run. Just never figured Simmons would give Kobe credit, that's all. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmons/100708 Ouch.
You guys said the same thing about Boston two years ago. It doesn't matter, especially now, when they have two MVP candidates and one of the best power forwards in the game, all in their prime. They'll find a way to find some ring chasers to take the minimum. All I'm gonna say is, I'm thankful to be in the west. We only have to face one of Miami/Boston/Orlando/whoever. It's gonna be a fun ride out East, and I see Miami coming out on top.
When you have Wade/Lebron/Bosh, you don't need much "help" around them. Those three can win you games with their eyes closed. Anything extra is just bonus. I hope Mike Miller doesn't join Miami, how they still have money left to offer him I have no idea.
They should still have the MLE. I actually think Chicago is going to throw a good chunk of change at him to come there and be their starting PG. He'd work great with that team and get plenty of open looks with Rose driving and Boozer drawing some double teams down low.
Rumors say Shaq will return to Miami. pg: Chalmers sg: Wade sf: Lebron pf: Bosh c: Shaq with Mike Miller off the bench. Yeah I'm scared.
