"Hated" as in many, many fans wanting them to lose and never win a championship. Besides CLE fans signs me up as a charter member!

Just wait until the refs start calling them all in the Heat's favor.

Not sure how this is good for the NBA. 1 Harlem Globetrotters and 29 Washington Generals? Why should anyone care what happens when any of the Generals play each other?

On the other hand, if they fail horribly, that would be a nice story. I don't think they will, though.

Nope. Lakers are the most hated forever. Until Heat fans start getting really fucking annoying like L*kers fans, its not going to change.

It's going to be good for the league, that's for sure. Now we have a new Jordan Bulls.

How long does Erik Spoelstra have a coaching job? Guesses?

I can't wait for Miami to pay a visit to Cleveland next season. And yes, I'd like to see them lose and not win a championship.

I never thought anything could rival the dislike I have for the Purple & Piss. Well done, Miami. Well done.

I'll actually cheer for the Celtics over them.

You're probably right seeing as they will probably have a 75% overlap if you made a ven diagram with one circle showing Lakers fans circa 2010 and one circle showing Heat fans Circa 2011+.

I don't know. It's close. I definitely hate LeBron more than I hate Kobe now. At least, at a minimum, I respect Kobe. He's a baller. LeBron is a fucking coward. A pussy. I hate him now. If it came down to Heat vs Lakers in the finals? My God, I might actually root for the Lakers for the first time in my life. Hard to tell. I would have to determine how I feel upon the beginning of the series.

I agree with this. At least the Laker fans have been around for a while. Miami fans will be, without question, the biggest bandwagon fuck sticks on the planet.

Oh. My. God. I defended Laker fans. This LeBron thing is fucking every thing up.

LOL, damn ya know it's a monumental event (clusterfuk) when some of us can actually envision a scenario where we might root for the Lakers! What's the world coming to?

Agreed! Fuck Lebron! Fuck Miami! Fuck lap dog Bosh! Fuck band-aid Wade! I hope every single team in the league gears up to rip them a new one every single time they play them. I hope every NBA fan decides to BOYCOTT these mutherfuckers. . . don't buy jerseys, don't vote them into any more All Star games. I hope every single game for them win or lose is a 48+ min boo-fest.

If the team is as instantly good as some think, he will probably have a job in the NBA until he is older than dirt.

While I don't disagree with the posts, I can recall when we tried to buy a championship and this is probably how people viewed us.

Hmmm. Really? No huge name FA's on that squad. All trades or draft. Huge salary cap. Lots of "very good players." Totally different to me.

I think what Rastapopoulos was insinuating was that Pat Riley would once again take the reins of the club now that they're going to be pretty good.

I didn't like those teams very much. In fact, I was a little embarrassed to be a Blazer fan in those years.
