Exit Though the Gift Shop - 9/10 Cool documentary about street artists. The Girl Who Played With Fire - 8/10 Pretty good, but not as good as The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Micmacs (Micmacs a tire-larigot) - 6.5/10 Expected more from the dude that directed Amelie, A Very Long Engagement, City of Lost Children, Delicatessen, and Alien Resurection. Prince of Persia - 5/10 My dad wanted to see it. Pelada - 7.5/10 Documentary about pick up soccer games around the world.
Inception is probably a top 5 movie for me (i dont rate comedies, so top 5 "film"). Pure amazing. I loved every minute of it.
yeah, not to over hype it, but Inception was very good. confusing, but you can predict a little before it's explained.
It really does: I'm planning on seeing it again tomorrow. I didn't find it very confusing, rather thought-provoking and complex. After further thought I'm bumping my score to 9.5/10 instead of 9. The only thing that irritated me was the score at a few moments (nitpicking).
I just watched that the other night and I was underwhelmed. Not as good as I thought it would be. The Hangover was much better.
I had heard there is a certain culture you had to enjoy, the 80s hair metal, in order to appreciate that movie.
Would someone please explain Inception to me? I saw it last night and while there were interesting parts, it was mostly confusing and probably the least enjoyable movie of the summer for me. And for me, it's been a great summer. I have LOVED Knight & Day, The Karate Kid, Toy Story 3, Get Him To The Greek, Cyrus, Sex & The City 2, The Kids Are All Right, and Despicable Me.
Not a bit move buff but last week saw Stonewall Uprising and yes it was good. But talk about a time machine!
