Does Quick keep on appearing on these shows to mention this everytime? It seems other than GM news, he mentions this. I think CP3 to PDX can die at least for this summer.

Now Babbitt may end up being the real deal, but I remain a hopeful skeptic. He's never played a minute of NBA ball or faced a better defense every night such like he has never imagined before. There's an adjustment period and he will have his.

Oh I agree. I never expect much from rookies. I was just pointing out that if he is ready, then Nate will play him. He has shown in the past that he will give rookies playing time. What they do with it is up to them.

Way to take my quote out of context *edited*. Read this part: He had a pretty bad series for him.

'Poeple like me?" Go fuck yourself. I'm not trying to 'kill' Lebron at all. I couldn't care less about him in truth. If I would have analyzed his playoff numbers and he had performed relatively well compared to his obvious skill...I would have posted that too. I have absolutely zero interest in him doing well or not well. For the record, I believe he's a better basketball player than Michael Jordan. But the fact of the matter is: Lebron played poorly against Boston relative to his skill.

As for Paul Pierce, here's how he fared against Cleveland. of the 95 games he played, the games against Cleveland were: 8th, 12th, 16th, 27th and 70th worst. But what does that have to do with anything? The question isn't about Paul Pierce, the question is about Lebron James. And Lebron underperformed against Boston. Why are you so gung ho to defend him?

He gave up vs. he didn't. How about a 3rd path-he sucked for some other reason. Like, he had a few drinks the night before the game. He didn't get enough sleep. He did something wrong physically and was not in top shape. Exertion caused pain so he move halfspeed.

This is like, did Marilyn Monroe commit suicide by overdose or was she murdered? How about a 3rd reason, less melodramatic--accidental overdose.

Sometimes we try and we fail. It doesn't mean we did anything wrong.

I find that much more likely than that he gave up or that he did something self-destructive to screw up his game.

This GM search reminds me of my pursuit of a roofer. I've received recommendations from distributors, manufacturers and experts in the field. These people come to my house and each time I say, "This guy has the right resume, I've seen his work and I'll probably hire him." And 21 times I have been left disappointed. There's something about each roofer that makes me reticent to hire them, be it a recommendation, something obvious they didn't see on my roof, their attitude, whatever.

I think our management team is discovering the grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence.

Well the whole Cleveland team quit. Not just Lebron. But when you are a leader, you aren't supposed to quit. He quit. I distinctly remember watching the game with 2 of my friends and us discussing at the 2 minute mark left in the final game that it looked like Cleveland had quit. They weren't down by much, but they totally let off the gas petal.

Kobe Bryant's "MVP" numbers against Boston pale in comparison to what James did, yet Bryant is lauded, and James "quit" and under-performed.
