Lol Fisher is just trying to scare the Lakers'. He won't play for the league minimum.

So I guess his daughter is all better and he doesn't need to move to a city with the specialist?

He wants to play on a great team, who can blame him. He probably see the writing on the wall that the Great White Hope is gonna start for the Lakers next season to.

I think they can give Fish something like $2.5MM/year deal (what the L*kers are offering) and sign Miller to that $27MM deal. As I understand it, James and Bosh are taking $2.1MM less and Wade is taking $2.6MM less.

It's a smart move on their parts. They take less money, but get actual pieces around them. If they get together and have no help, they'll likely fall short and then the endorsement dollars go out the window.

Good points. I think they actually signed Miller for 30M, which means Fisher is going to have to take a pay cut no matter what. I expect he will stay with the Lakers; but, with Riley, as we've seen, anything is possible.

Fisher is a very poor defender these days, at his age I wouldn't bother anymore.

I don't think so. He was terrible last season, despite pulling his shit together for several good playoff games. Overall, I would say his days as a heavy rotation player are OVER.
