Not even in the general realm.

Every 3some that even warrants consideration includes a great center, IMO.

I quite like Pierce (and Ray Allen)...and I could have seen a Hall of Fame case for both even prior to 2008, though I don't think either would have gotten in without a championship. I would say he's slightly better than Roy, due to better defense. I think in terms of production, a prime Pierce was similar caliber to Roy.

Hopefully the results will be the same. Zero championships.

This team will actually be designed for Lebron to be the "king"

    James: King
    Wade: Queen
    Bosh:Jack
Pat Riley: Joker (depending how ridiculous his haircut will be)

And poor old Eric Spoolestra from Jesuit will probably get the the Stan Van Gundy treatment

Yea, Bosh is better, hahahahaha! They call him Big Game Bosh, right, lol? Cuz he won three playoff games in 7 years! How many game 7 triple doubles does he have? Please! And there's my problem. These guys have done zero and they're already calling themselves the best ever.

Wade and Bron seem to be the cocky ones.

These guy will win championships, but no more than 3 or 4.

I don't see the problem with saying that. They are hungry ass pro athletes who want championships. I hate them with a passion and I hope they lose every fucking game, but realisticly I think they will win 70+ games. They were arguably the BEST DRAFT CLASS EVER and now the two best players from the draft, along with the 4th best are playing together?...To me, that's gonna be pretty damn good. While at the moment, they are at 0 in terms of being in the upper echelon on threesomes, however; like CK said, if they win 7-10 they will be the best ever along with constant amazing regular seasons, watch out.

But to hop off their dick for a second, screw the Heat and I hope they get sweep in the first round every year by the Raptors :D

If you're judging skill on pure playoff performance, which right here to me it looks like you are, than Dan Marino and Amare Stoudamire are shitty players. Bosh is now the third best option in the NBA and LBJ the best second option. (Which I think he will be).

Chris Bosh, while he may not be the toughest big man, will give you 100% of himself on the court and bring it every night. He'll grab boards, he'll make his shots, I fully expect his shooting % to be top 8, because he'll be getting easy touches down low, lay-ups, dunks easy 11 foot jumpers.

On the contrary, he has never won anything for us in Toronto, so good riddance. Hope goes 0-for every time he steps foot in the ACC.

Re: I can't believe Wade called themselves the greatest threesome to ever play in the

The problem with the statement for me is that Bosh is not the best compliment to James and Wade, so there are multiple players that could be substituted for him. Historically, it would be James and Wade that would be compared to other duos. Right now, they are bringing back memories of the Grant Hill and Tracy McGrady dynasty in Orlando.

No great threesome has 2 dudes in it, let alone 3.

    I like you because you're silly. :)

I do like the concept of the "one game superstar." Tony Delk wasn't a superstar? Let me remind you of January 2, 2001, when he scored 53 points. He was clearly a superstar! Is James Worthy known as "Tony Buckets?"

    Yahtzee.

    We're doomed.

I had to break my self imposed ban from this board because I'm manic depressive right now... possibly on the verge of becoming a (gag) Laker fan. I'm not looking forward to seeing the Lakers and the Heat in the finals for the next 10 years. This makes the other 28 NBA teams into "also rans"... good times. Then once in a while the manic "back when the Blazers won the championship the Sixers supposedly had a bunch of superstars and didn't win because the Blazers were the better TEAM" surfaces and I have a brief glimpse of a happy future. I'm hoping the experiment with the Olympic 3 results in something more like the 2004 Olympics than the Dream Team.
