Bulls forward Luol Deng has placed his three-bedroom town home in Northbrook on the market for $639,000. He was drafted by the Bulls in 2004. Built in 2000, the 2,511-square-foot town home has two full baths, two half baths, a kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, a large master suite with custom closets and a lower level with a bathroom and lots of storage. Deng paid $336,000 in 2004 for the town home, which is in a neighborhood popular with Bulls players. Deng's listing agent, Constantine Grapsas, declined to comment. http://www.chicagobreakingsports.com/2010/07/bulls-deng-puts-his-northbrook-home-on-market.html
It's consistent with my thoughts after hearing the Deng/Iggy rumors. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he has requested a trade, and the Bulls are trying to accommodate him.
If Deng is moved and we need a SF replacement, there's one guy I haven't heard a word about who would be a reasonable replacement - Al Harrington. I bet he comes cheap, too.
I'd be down for signing Harrington and Barnes if we unloaded Deng , although my preference would be to keep Luol , add JJ Redick and Ronnie Brewer . And if not Ronnie Brewer than Matt Barnes If we can't get JJ Redick I would like to try and acquire Wayne Ellington for a future pick and sign both Brewer and Barnes Option A - A wing attack of Deng, Redick, Korver, Brewer, and James Johnson Option B - A wing attack of Deng, Ellington, Korver, Brewer, Barnes and James Johnson
What about Xavier Henry? I read today that the team that picked him doesnt have the exact amount of money needed to pay someone in the first round of the draft. Could be had, cheap. I would like any of the scenarios you mentioned.
Harrington going to the nuggets, 5 year 34 mill as a back up SF/pf! Wow! http://twitter.com/STEIN_LINE_HQ
I think they're officially in do-anything-to-keep-Melo mode. They should ask Cleveland how that goes.
