Nets and Warriors are finalizing sign-and-trade for Anthony Morrow that will return a $4 million trade exception to GState, sources tell Y!

Morrow agreed to a three-year, $12 million offer sheet with New Jersey on Saturday. Now, the restricted free agent is on his way to Nets.

Bummer. I wanted GS to keep Morrow. Oh well.

I wonder what the earliest time is that we can turn around and use the trade exception?

The Nets have to send the Warriors something. You can't just make up an exception. Josh Boone would give the W's a $1 M TPE.

EDIT: I take it back. I think it was a TPE that the Nets had, but didn't use until now.

You guys know I wanted to keep Morrow.
