Per 95.5. He'll be in LV to get interviewed. The Tom Penn of OKC/SEA, has gone from a Cap guy to a good talent evaluator as well. For me GM's go : 1) Cho 2)Pfund
Blazers interview Rich Cho for GM Kenny Vance 95.5 Been with the Okc for 11 seasons and is asst GM. Will be in Las Vegas tonight and interview tomorrow with Miller.
Pfund, Cho, Griffin ... I don't really care, just get somebody good sooner rather than later and let's get on with it.
Sounds like a Tom Penn clone, but with less experience. Did Presti make sure to give Cho enough credit to the media?
Cho is by far the best candidate thus far. Pfund isn't awful and has a Pfunny name, but Cho looks much better from what I've read.
Based on what? Luring big FAs to OKC? Drafting Kevin Durant over Greg Oden (oh, wait). Drafting James Harden last year? I'm interesting in knowing why you feel Cho is a better candidate than Pfund? I think the opposite. I thought the initial words from the Vulcans were they wanted a GM experienced at making big trades and signings. Cho has done neither as the lead guy.
So you're saying Cho got lucky. I love Oden, but until he is healthy Durant was the pick. What's more as Durant was destined to be #2, the lucky bounce was to get #2 until such time as Oden beasts out for a few seasons. I'm hoping that Oden gets beasty next year. However, Cho's luck (likely highest ranking official at the draft) seems to have trumped Kevin's. Napoleon when looking for a General would listen to his accolades and then ask "Yes, but is he lucky?"
Your pic didn't come through bro, is that a pic of KP? If so prepare to be tarred and feathered. I liked KP, but feel his agent fucked it all up. As such I've moved on and would like a Cho GMship. Oh and KP derailment OFF TO THE RACES!
Aw man I was really hoping there was a Cho dynasty at some point. Googled it and no luck. By the way Margaret is a lesbian, just FYI.
I can't really say I'm too hot on any of the GM choices so far, just because they most likely won't be better than KP.
