This thread will be used to discuss the possible draft picks made by the Nets and workouts they schedule with those players. Thus far, the NJ Nets have invited UCLA PG Jordan Farmar and SG Arron Afflalo to work out for them. Additionally, Kenny Adeleke, a 6'9" power forward from Hartford, and Tarence Kinsey, a 6'6" shooting guard from South Carolina have been scheduled for Wednesday, as well, although they are not expected to be drafted..

I think it would be great if you guys drafted a guy like Daniel Gibson or Dee Brown to learn under Jason Kidd and then take over when he leaves/retires since Kidd is getting kinda old. Although Taj Gray would be a nice addition to your squad for a late round pick.

i would love to get dee brown or quincy dooby to possibly be kidd's protege. i'm not really sure about the bigs. i would like josh boone to give us inside toughness and defense that we need desperatly. i would also take jordan farmar if he's available. i dont expect to have all 3 of our picks come draft day. i think something will be done to get us bigger and deeper that includes those picks.

IDK about this draft, personally I'd prefer to trade out of it completely if it means getting back good players. This draft looks like it's incredibly weak and there's nobody that can make an impact rite away

Heres an update on the draft workouts:The Nets said nice things about Florida State's Alexander Johnson and Hartford's Kenny Adeleke, both power forwards, following their workouts Wednesday, the team's first this year. [Chad Ford's first post-lottery mock draft has the Nets taking the 6'-10" Johnson with one of their first round picks.](NetsDaily.com)The Nets also added Kelly Whitney, the 6'-8" Seton Hall forward, to their workout schedule. Whitney will work out with the Nets on Friday.
