According to Brian Windhorst of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Cavs signed PG Kyle Lowry, a restricted free agent, to an offer sheet Tuesday night.

The deal is for four years and $24 million, with the fourth year being a team option.

    So what does it mean?

Well, as Windhorst noted, such a signing likely means the end of Delonte West in Cleveland. West has been on the trade market, as his $4.6 million contract for next season is non-guaranteed if he's waived by Aug. 3 -- making him a decent trade chip.

However, Windhorst wrote that "the Rockets have said they intend to match reasonable contract offers for Lowry," so it's possible Lowry never becomes a member of the Cavs.
