We do not want to trade this kid...I remember watching him against Kansas earlier this year and having no idea who the fuck he was..All I could think is "man I would love to have this kid on the Blazers"...I didn't know if he was projected to be a first rd. pick or if he would even come out but he can realllly play....he reminds me of CDR but much much smarter and much more athletic...I really think he is going to surprise people.

Could be that he's going to be pretty good, but do you think he's going to be better than Parker is currently (or more valuable to our team as presently constructed)? Unless you think he can be a full-time PG (which I seriously doubt), then I don't think he is.

I can't say whether or not he's going to be as good as Tony Parker but I can definitely say I am extremely confident in his abilities. He's great at getting to the line, can create his own shot and he plays solid defense...

CDR is 6'7". Williams is 6'4". Those three inches move him from a tweener (like Williams) to a solid small forward size. And even at that, CDR sucks.

I hope you're right, and I'm excited about Elliot, but there are a lot of questions about where and how well he'll be able to play.

My point is, unless he's clearly an all-star talent, the fact that he was good in college is no reason not to trade him for a player that is an all-star, finals MVP, and plays a position of which our team is in greater need.

If Williams/Bayless/JPEC can get us Parker, I'm all in.

1.) There has been no indication that SA is looking to trade TP for potential talent. 2.) Isn't Parker a FA after this season? Why would we want to give up a bunch of young talent for 1 year with TP? 3.) I highly doubt Elliot Williams being included would make or break the deal.

It makes me think that perhaps Williams/Rudy/Pryz package could get us TP (which I'd be for), but damn I'd rather get rid of tunnel vision Bayless any day.

(Miller would have to be moved somewhere else too)
