Watch the Obama's administration take credit for stopping the oil well...I give it less than 48 hours. They will claim his "leadership" throughout the crisis helped "hold BP accountable".
Been watching CNN during the whole 'fix'. I guarantee another issue will pop-up along the way. Supposedly they will have to open the valves again but I wasn't playing attention. They still think there is a leak somewhere along the line as the pressure within the pipes are still way below the norm.
Yeah, something will happen. I have some friends who are executives at some large oil and gas companies. They said the only sure fire way to stop the leak 100% was to drill a relief well. So even if this "fix" works it won't be 100% fixed until the relief wells are finished being dug.
Thats the option of absolutely last resort. All the industry experts think the relief well will work. If that doesn't work, then blow it up will be the last option.
