I read that Shaq wants 8 mill a year for two years. We cant do that.

I am ok with Watson and am ok with Barnes.

I don't want Shaq's fat ass anywhere near Rose. Except while Rose is driving past him on the way to the hoop.

Shaq may disrupt the Celtic dressing room, be careful what you wish for, he can be full of himself at times.

I'd take Shaq over Brad Miller.

We don't have to play him during the regular season that much as all the major minutes are going to be with Noah, Boozer and Gibson anyway .

But come the playoffs he's a guy that would definately come in handly and could be a difference maker when playoff half court grind em down hoops comes into play.

I don't care what anyone says - he's still a 330 pound double double threat

I'd give Shaq his $8M over 2 years so long as we have a team option on him next year and that the last year of his contract is not fully guaranteed if we pick up his option

And rather than Barnes , I'd go with Mason who is a better quick guard defender with the size to take the 2 guard but I feel he's maybe a better 3 point threat than Barnes. Plus Mason is younger , has better ball handling ability as a combo and can fill reserve minutes at point given he's a combo

You can probably get Mason + Patty Mills who is greased lightening and a playmaker and very much under the radar for the same cost of Barnes

Dequan Cook is another guy I would take a long hard look at and see if we could acquire straight up for a future 2nd round pick

I can't see Dequan Cook playing on the Thunder . Westbrook, Harden, Sefolosha will all see the court before him and he'll be battling Kyle Weaverand Morris Petersen for a spot ..given that Eric Maynor will also take a spot

Anyway if Dequan Cook isn't available ...load me up for Rasual Butler with Roger Mason and Patty Mills

Shaq would actually escort him to the hoop.
