Ryne Sandberg ready to manage at major league level

    "I feel like I'm ready," Sandberg said. "No doubt about it."

    The former Chicago Cubs star, in town with his Iowa Cubs for a four-game series against the RedHawks, is trying to become the latest Baseball Hall of Famer to manage in the majors.

    More than 60 Hall of Fame players have managed in the majors, few with much success. Most that have had success did so as player/managers.

    Sandberg is trying to become the exception.

    I dont think so

    First, he kneds to know how to spell ryan....

    And second his low A team cant beat mine.... How can he manage the cubs?
