The Bulls now have nine players under contract and roughly $7.8 million of cap space left. They remain in discussions with Brad Miller and Kurt Thomas for big-man depth and have had talks about Rafer Alston and Jason Williams as a backup point guard. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sport...s-ronnie-brewer-chica20100716,0,6231347.story
I think they'll rotation will look like this. PG : Derrick Rose/Rafer Alston SG : Kyle Korver/Ronnie Brewer (Korver is gonna start because Chicago desperately needs spacing.) SF : Luol Deng/James Johnson PF : Carlos Boozer/Taj Gibson C : Joakim Noah/Brad Miller
Miller or Thomas are ok for backup big man depth though I'd much prefer the Bulls still look around and get themselves a quality player or an OK player and a pick. That cap space is valuable and they could get something, by trading with a team that wants to save money. Obvious candidates would be teams over the luxury tax (Lakers, Rockets, Magic) or Memphis and their odd refusal to pay Xavier Henry.
