Kevin Pritchard has nothing to do with what I wrote. End of story. So you can keep digging and trying to change the subject but he has NOTHING to do with it.
I think everyone should have an indicator for intoxication level. It'd help explain some things. I'm polishing up my second double vodka+mixers before going out, fwiw. After a few more strong rum and diets in the bar, hoes might look good to me, too... Ed O.
Calling someone an "unknown" - which means unfamiliar to fans - is meaningless. Most GMs are "unknowns" until they get their first job. The exceptions are ex players....and for every West or Dumars, there is a Thomas or McHale. Every GM, good or bad, had a first job somewhere. By saying the team should only hire people who have had jobs before, you are pretty much limiting yourself to proven mediocrities. Let's be honest - some of you have already decided you are going to hate whoever gets the job. Right or wrong, KP is history. Climb down off that cross, use the wood to build a bridge, and get over it!
We're going to just have to agree to disagree. I think Morey has done a great job finding underrated talent without top tier draft picks. Trading for Scola. Brooks. Landry. Hayes. Houston has been decimated by injuries for several years and they still compete.
I agree to disagree with you. BTW, had we only won 27 games last year I'd probably back Cho as the hire. The problem is we are on the cusp of our window to compete for championships and are in no position to hand the keys over to a first timer. We are trying to put the finishing touches on, not start from scratch clearing space and building through the draft. I M O
