It's a whole bunch of nothing, but I thought people would like to read it anyways.

Originally, LM stated that he wanted someone experienced at making trades and signing FA's.

Just sayin', but something changed along the way. ;)

It's a great letter. If KP had wrote this, it would be gospel for Christ's sake. The team hired a great candidate, who has been a big part of the building of a western conference power. He is an alum of Lewis and Clark, and loves the area.

    A couple of questions:
    1) Is Cho going to be a "Yes Man"?
    2) Isn't Cho a build-through-the-draft-KP-Presti-style GM? Couldn't we have just kept KP? :)

That team has been to the playoffs one less time then Portland in the last 4 years.

They may be a team on the rise, but they are a long way (and a quality big man) away from being a contender.

Probably somewhat, but I think he will have a lot of say because of his ties with the Sonics

Do people really not understand why KP was fired?

It's a little hard to understand something that is being kept secret from us.

KP was not the superstar some people claimed. He was, however, a net positive for the team....and that is not something you can take for granted. I'm glad the team opted for talent over a "proven" mediocrity, but this in no way sheds any light on the firing.

Only about 6 weeks until there is something new to talk about. This horse has been beat to death already.

    Quit being so negative!!!!!!!

You never know, he could be the next Jerry West.

You never know. Rajon Rondo was a rookie and Stanley Tucci was once an unkown actor. Look at them now!

Also, Rick Carlise was once in grade school. So was Rich Cho.

IMO he should fire Nate and coach the team as well.

says the conspiracy theorist. Or are you going to say KP was fired because of Nate's crappy offense?

I would assume that Cho doesn't have LeGarie as his agent :)
