<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Stackhouse cost us this game. Sorry to tell you this rok but that turnover hurt at the end.</div> Um no, we got the lead back even after that turnover. Damn dude, you got issues on him. There was a whole sequence of bad play in the last two minutes with Harris' offensive foul, Griff's turnover, then Stack's turnover. Followed by the stupid decision to allow Stack to guard Diaw, not Stack's fault. And then Daniels airball pass. Once again, you put the game on one player. Shame.Me and Lazy were talking about this quote, and we came up that mavsfan probably turned his tv off after that turnover by Stack and probably said OMFG we lost. Then turned it on after the game and saw we lost. Not realizing we regained the lead despite that turnover and negating that play at costing us the game.If you want to pick one of the turnovers that cost us the game, Daniels would be the one simply because his was our last shot and with that turnover, it was over. But seeing as I'm not you, I look at all those turnovers as why we lost and the fact we let Nash go off as well. But no you keep focusing on Stack.

Everyone screwed up but that Stackhouse possession was the biggest one of the game to that point. Later on Stackhouse didn't defend Diaw. Blame Avery but Stackhouse made some stupid mistakes.

If it was a turnover and we didn't get the lead back, it's a different story. And lol at didn't defend, he bodied him but what do you expect with the size. He just shot right over him. Just like he was doing all game against our smalls. You can't defend that.

I think Dirk should've stepped-up with his jumper. Dirk better take 30 shots on Friday.

What I don't understand about Stackhouse is why does he think he has to take over the games by himself? Why couldn't they just run a play insted of going 1 on 5. The spacing was bad yet Stackhouse still forces it. That play had turnover written all over it. Dallas could have layups all day if they were patient on offense.

Wait, mavsfan, are you talking about that play when Dirk was wide-open from three?

Did Stack pee in your morning cheerios or pass up an autograph to you? <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I think Dirk should've stepped-up with his jumper. Dirk better take 30 shots on Friday.</div> Why?

I guess you live and die by Stackhouse. He does some of the dumbest things and wish they went back to Harris since Nash had no answer for him.

Devin Harris really showed me something today. I don't really see him as a future point guard, I'm sure his passing was better in the season when I wasn't watching him, but he will be a very good player nonetheless.

He ALWAYS sets up Stackhouse for a shot. The only one Stack really did WELL on was that 3 in the, what, 3rd quarter!?

Well in Spurs series their were no adjustments. They were made, but wernt exicuted. Mavs had to learn to deal with Tim Duncan, we had no answers/adjustments for Duncan in some games...Dirk getting back downed, Dampier and Diop in foul trouble. This is how the Suns series could be like. Nash getting easy in the lane with an easy lay up. Same with Marion, but with a power house dunk. So yes this could be the same story vs the Spurs. Its very frustrating

The Mavs could have, and should have, won this game. The Suns looked worn out in the 4th quarter, until the last 3 minutes, and mainly Nash, and the last shot by Diaw of course.Dirk, while he had 25 and 19, didn't have a really great game, and Terry didn't show up either. I don't think that happens more than once in this series.I don't think Diaw, or Harris for that reason, will get 30 points again.I do believe this was the "feel out" game for the Mavs, and they'll still pull the game out.I think that even with all the Mavs mistakes, and the fact that they pretty much let the Suns do everything they wanted, and the Mavs still had a 9 point lead with 3 minutes to go proves that the Mavs are the deeper and more talented overall team...The defense from the Mavs was garbage tonight, and I hope they get better, and I'm sure the General has something up his sleeve for the 2nd game and on.

Yea, Mavs can win Friday. Dirk had a kinda quiet 25 and 19, but 8 offensive rebounds, that was great, resulted in second change points. Defense was garbage. This could be a problem the rest of the series. Suns are so quick after their opponet scores the bucket, causing mismatches...just like Dirk on Nash for example, which lead to Nash hitting 2 3's to bring them back to the lead. We need Diop in game 2, should give an advantage for Mavs, Diaw is only 6'8, so that should contain him a little bit if he goes in the paint. But Diaw likes to shoot mids, agian another problem, idk about Diop guarding deep. Why didnt Diop play tonight? I know he broke his nose, but I thought he was playable? Averys choice?

The Same reason that KVH played alot and DAmp only 16 minutes. With Diop/Damp on the floor, your going to have every sun streaming down the court for fastbreak, and transitional layups and dunks.Neither is quick enough to get back, after TO's, rebounds, or heck, not even after a made shot.Did you see all the long outlet passes right after a Mavs basket, where the Suns were basically behind the Mavs as soon as the inbound pass?

I wish they wouldn't keep my pulse going so fast.why Dallas thought booing Nash would put him off is beyond me, Suns in 6.

Hopefully this sparks a more consistent Steve Nash. If he continues to play like he did yesterday (Atleast comparably I mean) we could see a longer series than expected

I think Suns can win now. They showed me something last night that no other team showed me in the playoffs. They pulled out a game trailing by 9 with 3 minutes to go and won on the road. This team is a legit contender.

Wow, Pistons and Mavs lose at home in Game 1.. Suprising. But I still expect both to be in Finals.

^So do I.Milgod said "Suns in 6", nothing in that game last night showed me the Suns can win this in 6. 7, maybe, even though I dout it with the Mavs having that game at home, but definately not 6.Heck, I think the Mavs can still win in 6.You can tell that the Suns put everything they had out on the Floor, and the loss of Bell, while not Huge, is big enough to hurt them some too.The Mavs coughed up the game, and while Diaw and Nash played great, the game SHOULD have been won by the Mavs...and I fully expect them to win at least the next 2 games.I felt like the garbage defense played by the Mavs, and inability to get more than 1 bucket, and 2 FT's down the stretch is what allowed the Suns to come back.
