Marshall University defensive back DeQuan Bembry has been kicked off the school's football team, some three months after his arrest outside a West Virginia bar. Coach Doc Holliday announced Bembry's dismissal in a news release Sunday morning. The one-line statement said Holliday was "very disappointed in DeQuan."
