A taxidermist in Blanco, Texas claims to have a frozen, preserved specimen of the ever-popular Latin American mythical creature: the Chupacabra. Says Jerry Ayer, owner of the Blanco Taxidermy School, "It's different, that's for sure. It's very interesting." The animal was found by one of his students, who placed poison out to catch an unidentified animal that had gotten into a family members barn. Ayers says he does not know what the animal is and that it does not appear anything like any animal he's ever come across. "I don't know what to call it, so I'll just call it a chupacabra too."
