He made a list of the players that KP had on his roster when he became GM. Why did he do that? Because you posted, "I'm going to judge Pritchard based on what the team looked like before he became GM compared to what it was when he left." It appears, though, that you're NOT judging him on that, since the roster was in pretty good shape when he took over. Now, it appears, you're judging him based on when YOU think he was acting like GM. The question that seems clearly implied in Masbee's post was: are you judging KP based on when he was GM? Or before? The next logical question would be if it's the latter, then how can you ignore the possibility that he was partly to blame for PatterNash's mess? Ed O.
Evidence. What people write. Who writes it. I have a good memory, but I can't recall everything I read. Reep was able to provide evidence, which is why I started this thread. I take it as evidence that Canzano made it up. He referenced The Three Amigos repeatedly in early May, 2007, without explaining that they actually called themselves that and I can't find anyone else who reported them as that. It looks like Canzano being an asshole, and now--over five years later--using his own writings as the foundation for projection of how Cho will fit into the Blazers organization. Ed O.
Please stop with your tedious fucking Greg Brady "exact words!!!!"schtick. I'm sorry you only see the world in black and white with no fluidity and angles. Thank God for photoshop eh? (Nice touch with the shirt matching your title.) He did not ask me any questions and I addressed the list. So once again, I have addressed the issue but apparently neither of you like the answer. That's your problem not mine. In addition: Brilliant. So in my very first post I addressed the "Next logical question" yet you claimed that wasn't even part of the conversation. Now You're claiming it to be "the next logical question." And you call Papagrant dishonest.
He either was the GM or he wasn't. You either care about when he was GM or wasn't. Or you don't. If the former, then you should care about the roster he actually inherited as GM. If the latter, then you should be willing to discuss the possibility that he was more responsible for failures than he'd previously been painted as being. I didn't make the image. Thanks, though. I see no answer from you. Do you ACTUALLY care about when he was GM or wasn't? If not, that's fine... it's what you said, but you seem to be loose with words so it's understandable. If not, though, why do you so easily dismiss the possibility that he was actually part of KPatterNash? That's not at all dishonest. And he's not PapaG. Unless he's a liar. Ed O.
You claimed it wasn't part of the conversation and later called it the next logical question. You're either being dishonest or boring. I'm sorry you want to waste your time, as well as mine, pretending you don't understand what I meant by "Before he was the GM and after." Obviously it included the time he was Asst. GM and seen as the wonder boy of the organization. He was someone they were scared to death they were going to lose and had him run the draft that got us Roy and LMA when everyone else wanted to "Draft the Tache." This is the point where if you want to argue that it was all Patterson I have no interest. Because I don't agree. (which I already covered)
I don't understand what you mean. Can you please explain? What do you mean by "before he was GM and after"?
I think what OddEnormous is saying is that he's judging Pritchard by comparing the roster from before Pritchard was in charge to the roster when Pritchard left the franchise. Reportedly, Pritchard was in charge of the '06 draft, even if the official title came later. It's reasonable to speculate about Pritchard's culpability for what came before that, since he was part of the front office. Personally, I don't judge him much by that. The only evidence I have of that time, in regards to Pritchard, was that (again, reportedly) he was big on Chris Paul in the draft but was drowned out at the table. This suggests two things to me: 1. he was clearly not in charge and 2. he was not right in tune with Nash/Patterson. Therefore, my opinion is that those years would have gone differently had Pritchard actually been in charge and I don't consider it a great way to judge him. Reasonable minds can differ, but that's my view.
I think I'm falling in love with you. Anyway nice try, but this is Sportstwo. You're supposed to get hung up on semantics and syntax and try to catch people when they mistype even though you actually know what they mean.
Interesting that you can't answer a question directly asked to you. I can see you really thought out your position before your cute little meltdown.
No. Sorry. It is your tedious schtick of shtting all over so many threads with tons of bullshit that has taken the level of this board down in quality lately. Fucking stop it already. No. Sorry. Ed O got it right. He understands it perfectly. You, likely intentionally, are acting like you don't know what is going on, in an effort to evade the subject and keep on your themes, which lack the support of facts and logic. It is the problem of all the posters and readers who have to wade through all your crap.
I responded to your list you monkey. Even though you didn't ask me a question I STILL gave a response. Again, you didn't like the answer. Not my problem. BTW there's an ignore feature. That being said we both know you wont use it.
I already have. It's your choice to except it or not. Couldn't care less if you do or don't...... That being said Your infatuation with me is quite flattering. I'm hard as a rock.
