Re: '93 Suns / '05 Pistons Two different era's but if they were to play who do you think would win over a 7 game series. They both lost in the NBA finals in these years, The Suns to the Bulls and the Pistons to the Spurs.
Re: '93 Suns / '05 Pistons This is hard to say becuase I don't know much about the 93' Suns. But I still think the Suns would win if they had Barkley that year. He led a good team and I think they would outrebound the Pistons to death
Re: '93 Suns / '05 Pistons I would say the Suns too. Barkley, KJ, Thumder Dan Majerle, Ceballos, Chambers, Ainge. . . . . they were such a great team, and had a great finals against the Bulls.

Re: '93 Suns / '05 Pistons I don't think Rasheed or Ben would be able to stop Barkley in the paint and Dan Majerlie had a great shot anywhere on the floor. Another thing is KJ would be unstopable against Chancy.
Re: '93 Suns / '05 Pistons My guess, nobody in this forum actually watched the 93 Suns unless it was a game or 2 on ESPN Classic.

I was only young (although I remember it like yesterday).

Re: '93 Suns / '05 Pistons well Im 20 and I've been watching NBA games since I was 9 but I guess some of the others in here just recently started watching from the 1997/98 season and beyond.
Re: '93 Suns / '05 Pistons The suns were good but not great. Streaky team. They almost lost to the lakers. They were great in the regular season but the playoffs they started to fade.
Re: '93 Suns / '05 Pistons I think a better match up for the 05 Pistons would be the 1998 Indiana Pacers. Rip vs a younger faster Reggie Miller. The Wallace Brothers (Rasheed and Ben) vs The Davis Brothers (Antonio and Dale), Chancy Billops vs Mark Jackson. Also you'd get a good match up between Jalen Rose and Teshawn Prince. Oh and Ric Smits going toe to toe with Ben Wallace would be a great matchup to in the paint.

They meesed up against the Lakers but had a comback for the ages. 'The Westphal Guarantee' as it were. They had to play a good Sonics and Spurs team after that before the Bulls were just able to pull it out, thanks to a John Paxson 3 with 3 seconds left.
