But, of course. From Brian T. Smith: http://www.columbian.com/news/2010/jul/21/chos-job-has-been-a-long-time-coming/
Well I would hope so, otherwise you might find yourself fired...just sayin. Who is this Allen guy anyway? Wait KP wasn't the owner? I thought he was running the franchise?
Brian T smith is just so head and shoulders above Quick (to ejac) and Crapzano it's pathetic. It's like comparing Kobe to Darius Miles. Actually, I take that back, that isn't fair to D Miles.
You my friend are correct! Have gotten to know Brian the past few months. Great guy, down to earth. Quick thinks he's HOLLYWOOD! Mr.BigTime! It's all about him!
Wait til you see my latest video. Nate has props for you and puts MM in his place Have to edit it. You should get an account seeing as you are all rich with WAYYYYYY tooo much time on your hands.
Always busts me up how it's always, "Nate, Larry, Rich, and Mr. Allen." Nobody uses Paul's first name. I wonder if it's a Voldemort kind of thing. It must be awesome to be so rich that millionaires dare not speak your first name.
It was simple expediency...in the past, considering Pritchard's desires, saying "Paul" would rightly have raised suspicion with the league office that the Blazers were talking about "working with" Chris Paul and punishment for tampering would have been handed down.
Props for him--yeah, right. "I've got to tell you, the expense for buying new keyboards has gone up recently..." Cold man, cold.
KP used to say he talked to Allen "every day." This isn't going to be any different than how things used to be.
The Oregonian acts as if the paper owns the team jointly with Paul Allen. This has been going on for a decade. Right now they're in a hateathon for Allen, whom they seem to think is their undeserved rival in their quest to control the team. You guys should have read the Seattle Times and Post-Intelligencer during the Sonic years. Totally different. And the Los Angeles Times and Herald-Examiner when I lived there in the early 70s. Professional and objective. Just the facts ma'am. I've never seen an NBA paper like the Oregonian. Jealousy of Blazer management permeates every word they write.
Yeah, I always found that to be strange. They were talking about this on 95.5 the other day, and they were comparing it to like Paul Allen is a King or Emperor or something, and he's MR. Allen. Always funny to hear that from everyone in the organization.
Sonic fans have a couple of good boards. Here's a comment on one of them. ------------------- Somebody should ask Cho if he agrees with Paul Allen’s vote against moving the Sonics to OKC. If he says yes Cho affirms that he thought the move was wrong and it sends an interesting message to his former employer. If Cho says no he is basically saying that his new boss was wrong- not a good way to start as the new GM of the Blazers. Cho may have to “no comment” this question! ---------------- http://sonicscentral.com/blog/?p=2834
I also noticed the "Mr. Allen". Used to be I'd hear Blazers referring to him by first name. I don't know if he's become more distant, or if it's an age thing. He was in his 30s when he bought the team, not a lot older than the players. Now he is a lot older.
