With Anthony Randolph, Ronny Turiaf and Kelenna Azubuike shipped off to New York in exchange for David Lee in a recent sign-and-trade, the Warriors now find themselves with a few roster spots to fill. And as Chris Tomasson of FanHouse reports, GM Larry Riley indicated that Anthony Tolliver and Devean George -- both unrestricted free agents who played for the Warriors last season -- could be brought back in the fold. "We have some decisions to make," said Riley, who said he hopes to sort matters out in the next 10 days, according to FanHouse. "I wouldn't want to say how close we are (to re-signing George or Tolliver). But there is dialogue (with the agents of both players on a regular basis)." Tolliver did average 11.7 points and 7.0 rebounds last season for the team. And though Don Nelson's run-and-gun system has been known to inflate a stat line or two, Tolliver can certainly contribute --- and he can be re-signed on the cheap.
Oh dude, come on, Devean George? Tolliver I understand, but dude... Take a chance on a summer league guy, Ingles or Powell or something... I guess I'm all about upside though. And George has none. But at least he's a pro and plays tough defense, I guess he'll be a good lockerroom guy...
