Fuck Rudy he doesn't get to choose where he goes and if we send him to the Hornets, then good, he belongs on a losing team anyway.

I think so. I don't see all the hype about Gortat, he is a big, but he is not even that great. Average at best. Pietrus is nice, but Batum and him are a wash with Batum having higher potential. Anderson? He just seems average as well. Knickes prospects are better then those 3. Jameer does nothing for them and Carter is only an expiring, nothing more nothing less.

I don't give a shit fuck about Rudy. But he adds no value to the trade from the NOH perspective, and only means they have to pay his salary. Since his salary can be deducted from the postulated trade and have the numbers still match up, then they would get an instant immediate savings of 1.24 million by not having rudy included. Last thing a strapped team wants is to accept more coming back then they absolutely have to. My leaving off rudy is not for his sake, it's to make the proposed deal sweeter from the perspective of NOH.

Collison is 6x cheaper than Nelson. Yeah, I would think they'd value him more. Same with Gortat/Anderson/Pietrus, they're nice pieces, but Anderson is the only one who is cheap. And neither of them are bursting with tons of potential.

Right, so why are you trying to act like Carter has some value for them?

Yeah, I see. But maybe Monty Williams will talk Rudy up to the Hornets management. :D

The Knicks don't have the assets. They'll have to give up everyone (of value) outside Amare to even have a chance.

Orlando, outside Dwight, has the most overrated collection of players in the NBA.

Dallas biggest chip is Roddy Buckets. Really?!

When you talk about pure talent for talent nobody comes close to what the Blazers could pony up.

If Nelson is the deal killer, then fine. Then fact is New Orleans has no one else at point guard to go with Collison, and why settle for someone who's worse than Collison?

We can give them a nice backup and possible teacher in Andre Miller. Game, set, match.

I'm seeing "at least a year" at the end of that phrase. Not rebuilding value.

I also think there is a very good chance that Miller and Camby would accept some sort of buyout saving NOH even more money.

Overlooked fact. Rudy is an expiring same with Bayless and Batum. Just saying FWIW.

I don't think folks are giving the Knicks guys enough credit. Check out the PER on Azubkie and A. Randolph. Galinari is over rated garbage I will agree with you there even though you didn't say it in the first place. :p

Yes, but it's an expiring that is not needed in the first place to make the numbers match up. So again, why would NOH want to have him included and have to pay him for this upcoming year if he is not needed to make the deal work. It would cost them 1.24 million while they are trying to save. And to make matters worse, there is a chance that rudy will refuse to play, and then they are paying that 1.24 million and not even getting a player.

    proposed trade

Jesus Christ, Oden is not a throw in expiring. Give me a fucking break. Who lead the Blazers in PER last year?

Also is he talent for them or an expiring? Batum I shouldn't have included with Rudy washup and Bayless.
